Key responsibilities:

1. To ensure optimum availability of engineering services including Utilities & power.

2. To ensure that all the projects are completed in the given time frame and within the allocated resources/ approved budget.

3. To prepare, monitor and control revenue and capex budget.

4. To prepare the power, fuel budget and provide input for budgeting process to monitor on regular basis, to be in line with the budget.

5. To ensure compliance to preventive Maintenance & Calibration schedules.

6. To ensure all deviations related to Engineering departments are investigated and conclusions are recorded on time.

7. To ensure CAPA’s, CCR’ related to engineering are closed on time.

8. To perform all SAP, Track wise CAPA, LMS & DCM activities relevant to the job role.

9. To review & approve SOPs as per requirement.

10. To review risk impact analysis, risk assessment & risk re-assessment.

11. Planning & implementation of CAPA actions arises out of investigations, observations, risk assessments & regulatory observations.

12. To initiate and review the energy conservation activities and projects.

13. To ensure Liaison with allied government agencies for statutory requirements specific to engineering department.

14. To ensure compliance to Quality, EHS Policy and Company’s Code of Conduct in the Department.

15. To ensure timely maintenance of equipment & facility and records are maintained.

16. To ensure availability of resources for all the activities related to engineering department.

17. To review the manpower productivity on regular basis.

18. Training and development of subordinates and indulge in learning and self-development.

19. Ensuring compliance to cGMPs, Safety procedures, current SOPs, statutory guidelines and company ‘s code of conduct in the plant.

20. To insure availability of annual rate contracts to all engineering contractors.

21. To insure timely completion of billing cycle for every engineering vendors.
