Key responsibilities:

1. 1. Critical process monitoring, data analysis & reduction of Batch cycle time (Wherever possible & applicable)
   2. Planning and conducting PDL (process development lab) experiments for process optimization to improve yield and quality, whenever required.
   3. Planning and conducting PDL (process development lab) experiments for recycling and recovery improvement of solvents, wherever required.
   4. Analyze monthly data (yield, production volumes, solvent recovery and inventories trend) provided by Finance and ensure corrective measures for future (wherever required)
   5. To ensure completion of validation activities and including new molecules
   6. Capacity de bottlenecking, capacity creation and facility creation.
   7. To perform full scale investigation related to OOS and OOT.
   8. Problem trouble shooting and Technical support in production issues by co-ordinate the team of production manager, shift in-charge, chemists and operators.
   9. Evaluate lab processes form R&D and site transfer processes, select suitable equipment and carryout modification and execute trial & validation of batches in collaboration with Plant and GP&T team.
   10. Review of current methods of production for cost efficiency, environmental friendliness, maximum output and product quality.
   11. Calculation of line size required for utilities and process lines
   12. Production capacity enhancement by optimizing the process parameters.
   13. Prepare material and energy balance for new and existing process to understand and reduce process losses.
   14. Complete the all training related to the job role.
   15. Compliances to Safety procedures, cGMP & SOP’s
   16. Preparation of PFD (Process flow diagram) for new and existing process.
   17. Take part to minimize energy use, minimize waste production, including finding ways to turn the waste into valuable materials that can be re-used.
   18. Support the execution of new products during trail and validation.
   19. Seek new and more efficient processes and materials, or improve or find new uses for existing materials.
   20. Design plans to install advanced/energy efficient equipment with relevant justifications.
   21. Develop simplification ideas through process and technology solutions.
   22. Preparation of reports, feasibility studies and cost analysis of processes.
   23. Detailed product costing and power consumption calculations.
   24. To take part in the strategic activities those are executed at plant level.
   25. Support in evaluating cost estimation, techno commercial aspects and payback calculation for all major budgeted and special Capexes.
   26. Assisting in production planning and target achievements with respect to quality, quantity, yield, recovery efficiency and compliance.
   27. To provide and participate in making review reports to corporate office at given frequency ,etc.
   28. Support the execution of new products during trials and validation.
   29. Improvements in percentage of solvent recovery for established systems and utility consumption calculation in recovery processes.
   30. Involvement in process optimization and robustness by reduction of product stages/operations and supporting cost reduction projects.

Experience

Tenure:  4 - 7 Years in API Plant, Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and industry best practices
