Key responsibilities:

1 Coordinate with EHS & other department to perform activates like National Safety Week, Road Safety Week, Fire Service Week, World No Tobacco Day, World Environment day celebration at site to improve awareness among the people towards Environment, Health & Safety. 

2 Preparation of departmental SOPs on various EHS standards as per corporate guideline & implement the same in field.

3 Conduct monthly EHS training, Central Safety Committee Meeting, Contractor Meeting, first aider meeting, fire fighter meeting.

4 Train all site leadership team, shift / block in-charges / EHS personnel for conducting EHS observation & interaction rounds.

5 Check work permit system for any non-routine job & their look the compliance of any unsafe act / Unsafe Condition compliance.

6 Check & monitor the firefighting system at site. Operation of fire hydrant system & maintenance of fire hydrant system & required documentation

7 Operation & maintenance of fire extinguisher in monthly basis & maintain the required document.

8 Issuance of PPE & maintain the record Inventory PPE.

9 Monitoring of daily environment report & their compliance & ensure daily environment report downloaded in the portal & their compliance.

10 Monitoring of daily ETP, STP, ZLD, hazardous waste record & their all required documents.

11 To maintain and continual improvement of ISO Standard 14001:2015(EMS) and 45001:2018(OHSMS) coordinate with EHS and other department.

12 Coordinate with other department to conduct mock drill & prepare report and find the gaps. CAPA rise in global EHS portal.

14 To ensure OSHA recordable accident rate should be below target rate.

15 To ensure Zero fatal accident.

16 Legal and Corporate Compliance with respect to EHS.

17 To improve EHS awareness among the people.

18 To maintain Zero fire incident.

20 To ensure treated effluent water quality complying with PCB norms.

22 Improve operational safety in all activities within the plant.

24 Preparation of Environmental related document & same to be deposited to SPCB at right time.

25 To maintain and continual improvement of ISO Standard 14001:2015(EMS) and 45001:2018(OHSMS) coordinate with EHS and other department.

26 To perform any other job assigned by the HOD/Management.
