Job Summary:

Sun Pharma is seeking a detailed oriented Senior Manager, Rebates and Contract Operations to lead the development, execution and oversight of our pharmaceutical rebate programs across the Market Access portfolio. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end rebate operations, contract rebate implementation, analytics and cross-functional alignment with the Market Access Team. ContractThis candidate will manage a team that works closely with internal partners to ensure rebates and chargebacks are accrued, analyzed, processed and paid timely. Will also work directly with customers to resolve discrepancies with payer invoices and other assigned accounts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead all efforts to maintain contract rebate and discount parameters in Sun’s revenue management system, including customer plan to formulary assignments, products, rebate rates, rebate value, performance tiers and eligibility.
  • Maintain payment schedule so all team members are aware when payments are due and payments are ready and approved on time.
  • Suggest and implement dash boards and views for payment approvers and leadership to understand payment metrics.
  • Supervise direct reports; establish goals, prepare performance appraisals, coach and mentor direct reports as needed. Ensure accurate work product of team.
  • Review proposed changes to contract terms and provide feedback to the Contract team as needed.
  • Develop SOPs and user guides, and expand/update existing documentation as needed.
  • Support organization during high demand audit cycles and quarterly reporting as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis or equivalent work experience in a similar position.
  • 8+ years previous work experience managing rebates, chargebacks, and/or financial processes
  • Skilled at managing, coaching and developing a team
  • Prior experience with an ERP System (JD Edwards, SAP, NetSuite).
  • Prior experience with the following: Managed Care rebates, Medicaid claims, government and/or wholesaler fees within a pharmaceutical company.
  • Knowledge and experience in interpreting commercial and government contract rebate terms
  • Knowledge of Contract Management Systems, such as Vistex (or Model N, CARS, imany, icontracts or Revitas is required).
  • Track record of developing and providing data analyses and reporting
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Excellent time-management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator and possess well-developed strong organizational skills.

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $121,000 to $148,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
