Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics and Forecasting

This position is of critical importance, as this individual will be responsible for partnering with the Head of Market Insights and Analytics to evolve the forecasting team to a collaborative and insight driven function within the Commercial Operations group. The person needs to be able to lead forecasting and advanced analytics projects to meet the different needs of a large and diverse product portfolio of both inline and pipeline brands. This person must be comfortable with operating in a fast-paced changing “start-up” type environment. This role will serve as the face of the function to Sales, Marketing VPs, and Brand Leads of the business units that they support.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the quarterly, long term, and pipeline forecasting process
  • Lead advanced analytics projects such as APLD (Anonymous Longitudinal Patient Data) analysis, Marketing Mix, ROI optimization, AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning)
  • Collaborate with commercial and finance leadership to define and quantify the impact of market assumptions, including opportunities and threats
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Market Access, Market Research, and sales leadership to ensure information and insights are being cascaded throughout the commercial organizations and support functions

Basic Qualifications:                   

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Atleast 3  years of Pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience, including experience in Finance and/or Forecasting or consulting
  • Experience in statistical modeling and forecasting tools
  • Experience in advanced analytics methodologies such as Marketing Mix analysis & ROI optimization, and Digital Analytics
