Senior Manager, Business Development:

Job Summary:
The positions primary responsibility is supporting Business Development for North America Generics (Rx & OTC) in maximizing region’s growth by way of: (i) New BD opportunity evaluations ii) Licensing deal making & contract negotiations iii) New partner development for USA & Canada market.
Responsibilities:
- New licensing opportunities scouting, evaluation & assessment with business units
- Lead negotiation of deal terms, term sheet & execution of contract for the region
- Bring new revenue new revenue opportunities for US and Canada by partnering with third parties
- Qualifies the new BD opportunity, prepares presentation for review and approval by Business Unit
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders as R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain for due diligence
- Continuous identification and evaluation of Business Development opportunities
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- General knowledge of USA, Canada pharmaceutical market (Rx & OTC)
- General understanding of cash flow, NPV, IRR and other financial / accounting measures
- Proficiency in using IQVIA, IPD, Evaluate, Global Data, Medi-Span, or other equivalent tools
- Skill sets focused in networking, negotiation and deal making
- Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills
- Strong analytical skill sets focused in financial/data modeling and forecasting
- Strong interpersonal skills and persuasiveness
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Travel required (~25% & as needed)
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree of science or equivalent is required, MBA is preferred.
- 5+ years' experience of working in Business Development
- Experience in contract negotiation, development and alliance management.
- Well-developed analytical skills.
Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan.
