Job Summary:
This role leads IT Infrastructure for North America, with accountability for performance, resilience, and security across regional infrastructure and digital workplace services. The Senior Director provides strategic and operational leadership spanning data center architecture, end-user technologies, service management, and cybersecurity within validated, compliance-sensitive environments.
The leader partners closely with Global Infrastructure, Service Assurance, and Cybersecurity teams to advance infrastructure transformation and data center evolution in alignment with enterprise standards. In parallel, the role drives regional execution of end-user modernization initiatives, site transitions, and IT integration activities associated with mergers and acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the evolution and execution of the North America infrastructure and workplace technology strategy, aligning regional capabilities with business objectives and global enterprise architecture and security standards.
- Provide executive governance and performance oversight of regional infrastructure platforms, including enterprise networks, managed services, endpoint technologies, and collaboration systems, ensuring reliability, service quality, and operational excellence.
- Lead the transformation of regional data center and core infrastructure architecture, delivering a modernized, scalable, and resilient environment that reduces technical debt and improves stability and cost efficiency.
- Oversee infrastructure planning and execution supporting site transitions and regional footprint changes, ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
- Lead IT due diligence and post-merger integration for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring secure, structured transition of infrastructure and services and establishing repeatable integration frameworks.
- Elevate end-user services and IT service management practices, ensuring strong SLA performance, measurable user satisfaction, and disciplined service governance.
- Implement global cybersecurity policies regionally, overseeing incident response, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure robust business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities across regional platforms.
- Own regional infrastructure and end-user services budgets, driving financial discipline, vendor optimization, and performance accountability.
- Build and lead high-performing teams with a focus on execution excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide executive-level reporting on infrastructure health, transformation initiatives, service performance, and security posture.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 7 years in senior leadership roles spanning enterprise infrastructure, digital workplace technologies, and cybersecurity within complex, global organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership of large-scale infrastructure transformation, including data center modernization and architectural evolution incorporating hybrid or cloud-enabled capabilities.
- Proven experience leading technology enablement for site transitions and regional footprint changes while maintaining business continuity.
- Experience leading IT due diligence and post-merger infrastructure integration.
- Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure architecture, cloud platforms, networking, managed services, endpoint ecosystems, and secure-by-design principles.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience managing substantial regional budgets and optimizing vendor ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing, geographically distributed teams and drive execution excellence.
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business leaders and global technology partners.
- Experience operating effectively within matrixed global organizations.
- Familiarity with ITIL and modern IT service management frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience leading infrastructure within GxP-regulated environments, with accountability for audit readiness and compliance-driven change management practices.
The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $214,000 to $261,500. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
