Job Summary:
The Manager, Corporate Communications, serves as a key member of the Sun Pharma North America Corporate Communications team and is based in Princeton, New Jersey. This role supports a range of internal and external communications activities, with a particular focus on strengthening Sun Pharma North America’s digital corporate communications presence and managing day-to-day corporate social media activity across approved channels.
 
Responsibilities: 
Digital & Social Media Communications
•    Drive day-to-day Sun Pharma North America corporate social media management, including content planning, drafting, scheduling, publishing, monitoring and reporting across approved platforms
•    Develop and publish engaging digital content, including written posts, graphics, short-form video and other multimedia assets, in alignment with Sun Pharma’s corporate voice, brand standards and approval processes
•    Support the development and maintenance of a social media content calendar tied to corporate priorities, business milestones, awareness moments, employee engagement opportunities and reputation-building initiatives
•    Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments and emerging issues, escalating as appropriate and moderating user-generated content in line with company policy
•    Guide and support internal teams on social media and digital communications needs, ensuring activities are aligned with Sun Pharma’s social media policy and corporate communications standards
•    Track basic social media and digital performance metrics and use insights to recommend improvements to content, timing, format and channel strategy
Internal Communications 
•    Support internal communications activities tied to business and people goals 
•    Manage aspects of the company’s intranet and drive employee adoption of the Company’s proprietary Viva Engage platform through innovative ideas & engagement 
•    Develop content for company-wide announcements and events & town halls  
•    Work with the HR team and business partners on employee engagement & internal communications 
Brand Building 
•    Help build and strengthen corporate brand using a variety of communication tools & channels (e.g., Corporate Website, YouTube Channel, LinkedIn Life section, etc.) 
•    Collaborate and work closely with internal teams and Global Communications team to support branding initiatives 
 
Education and Qualifications: 
•    Minimum bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Communications, Journalism, or English.
•    Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in journalism, corporate communications or public relations. 
•    Experience managing corporate social media channels and developing content for LinkedIn and other business-relevant platforms
•    Basic graphic design skills primarily for PowerPoint presentations
•    Working knowledge of AI-enabled communications tools and platforms
•    Strong digital writing skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for social, web, internal and executive communications channels
•    Basic video production capabilities, including simple filming, editing, formatting and captioning of short-form corporate video content
•    Familiarity with social media scheduling, monitoring and analytics tools
•    Supporting media relations activities, including drafting messaging, preparing background materials, coordinating responses and helping maintain productive relationships with relevant media contacts
•    Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus. 
•    The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight timetables, be open-minded and can adapt to change 
•    Must possess excellent writing skills—both technical and creative/promotional proficiency, highly refined skills of grammar and syntax; ability to adapt writing styles quickly and gracefully 

 

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $95,500 to $120,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
