Director, Institutional Business (Generics)


GENERAL SUMMARY:

The role will have responsibility for developing and implementing the Institutional sales and access strategy for the Sun Family of generics as well as brands across Dermatology, Oncology and Long Term Care portfolio.  This position is responsible for establishing sales targets, and developing and executing strategies to meet targets and promote sales growth and customer satisfaction.  This position is directly responsible for leading field sales team members in the Institutional and LTC business.  This position operates in a professional office environment, based in Hawthorne, NY.   Some travel up to 20% is required.
 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develops and executes annual sales and marketing plans in support of organization strategy and objectives.
  2. Recommends and directs implementation and execution of sales and marketing strategies based on market, portfolio and competitor analysis.
  3. Develops and implements pricing strategies and manages multiple channel selling strategies.
  4. Ensures communications are coordinated and supports sales plan objectives.
  5. Performs other related duties as assigned.
     

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE TO DO THE JOB:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales & Marketing or a related field is required; MBA or advance degree preferred.
  2. Institutional and LTC experience is a MUST.
  3. Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience, including P&L responsibility.
  4. Strong business acumen, results driven and strategic thinking skills required

  2. Demonstrated leadership experience partnering at multiple organizational levels and across remote teams
  3. Good relationship management, and verbal /written communication skills
  4. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
