- To ensure the implementation of cGMP measures to meet the regulatory requirements.
- Operation, maintenance, validation, revalidation, qualification, requalification and distribution of various “Utilities” to Pharma Blocks. (Including Power, HVAC, Water, Compressed Air. and steam etc.)
- To be accountable for the budget allocation/monitoring for power, fuel and approval of bills for same.
- To co-ordinate with Corporate projects team for expansion projects.
- To decide the work allocation / vendor selection for the out sourced contractual jobs, like civil maintenance, painting, fabrication jobs etc. and to check / approve their bills for payment.
- To plan and implement the Preventive maintenance Program and Breakdown Maintenance system across all the plant & machinery and ensure minimum downtime.
- To be accountable for budget allocation of spares each year, its approval or rejection.
- Procurement of spares and consumables of all plant and machinery.
- To co-ordinate with Government Officials.
- To co-ordinate with vendors of all capital equipment and machinery (including imported machines and spares).
