The Senior Director, Corporate Accounts is a leadership role leading a team of 3-5 Corporate Account Directors supporting the B&B interests of large Corporate Dermatology Practices for Ilumya, Levulan. This position will lead the Corporate Accounts Team to identify and develop working relationships with key decision makers in the operations and management of designated targeted large dermatology practices to ensure patients have access to Ilumya for moderate to severe psoriasis and Levulan for Actinia Keratosis. This position will be responsible for implementing the company’s strategic objectives and provide cross-functional leadership and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

The Sr. Director of Corporate Accounts will also have a Patient Advocacy role. This new role to Sun would engage with targeted societies and advocacy groups in an effort in increase access, communication and engagement for Sun Pharma Dermatology Brands. Based on the priorities of Sun and its pressing issues, the following groups would be the initial focus with specific goals to be outlined by the Director.

  • International Alliance of Dermatology Patient Organizations
  • American Academy of Dermatology
  • Association of Dermatology Administrators and Managers



Job Scope:

The Sr. Director Corporate Account Director is responsible developing strategy for the Corporate Account Team to identify and develop working relationships with key decision makers within a corporate account. Educate the formulary and decision making process at all levels. Gain support of Sun Pharma Products (Ilumya and Levulan) by the corporate entities clinical team and the business managers. Work with National Sales Directors to coordination between Corporate Account Managers and field sales personnel will be a critical function of the CAD role and necessary for pulling through the business.

Expert knowledge of the B&B process, Medicare Part B as well as commercial reimbursement, specialty pharmacies and identifying alternative sites of infusion are required.

Director Patient Advocacy role, would be to keep team members and leadership team members appraised of key learnings from the groups identified above. Collaborate with patient advocacy group leaders on key strategic initiatives as needed focusing on those that are aligned with Sun Pharmaceuticals’ strategic initiatives.

Operate consistently with Healthcare Compliance guidelines.

Arrange for Senior Management customer interactions as needed.



3-5 years of account management experience or other Managed Markets experience is preferred.

Leadership experience is required.

Experience working in channels such as large Payers, national and regional health plans, state and local governments, PBM's, SPP's and Physician Medical Groups.  

Prior experience with director and senior level executives within the assigned geographical area preferred. Potential candidates must have a solid understanding of key public and private Payer policy infrastructure, payment methodologies, coverage, health policy trends and current business challenges.



A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred.


Additional Requirements:

This is a field based position, requiring significant travel to assigned Corporate Accounts and field based/home office based meetings and trainings.
