Title: Raw Material Dispensing Operator I (1st shfit - 7AM - 3:30PM)
To perform dispensing of raw materials for manufacturing as well as warehouse functions.
Area Of Responsibility
Under extensive supervision:
- Ensure compliance to SOP’s and cGMP’s.
- Adhere to the Safety and Health programs and policies.
- Adhere to Facility and Dispensing gowning procedures.
- Ability to follow Batch Card and proper documentation practices.
- Promptly carry out assignments given by Team Lead/ Supervisor.
- Perform cleaning procedures as outlined in SOP.
- Perform API/ Filler calculations as required per Batch Card.
- Stage raw material and dispensed material in their proper locations.
- Perform daily scale standardizations.
- Dispense material as required by the Process Order Record per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ability to detect and correct documentations errors.
- Report any discrepancies/ anomalies found in the dispensing area.
- Ensure work areas are clean, orderly and stocked with supplies.
- Understanding of environmental condition requirements.
- Adhere to relevant health and safety (OSHA) rules and regulations at all times.
Work Conditions:
Environmental related to manufacturing/production/warehouse environments:
- Noise: Sufficient noise, either constant or intermittent, to cause marked distraction or possible injury to sense of hearing.
- Fumes: Smoky or vaporous emissions, usually odorous, thrown off as the result of combustion or chemical reaction.
- Odors: Unpleasant smells.
- Gases: Examples include carbon monoxide and ozone.
- Dust: Airborne particles of any kind, such as textile dust, wood, and silica.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, and bend.
- Must be capable of bending and lifting, moving and/or carrying up to approximately 50 - 75 pounds.
- Must be able to move pallets/equipment weighing about 100 -300 pounds using suitable moving equipment such as pallet jacks / Hi-Lo.
- Must have the ability to stand, ambulate and reach as required by job duties while navigating the office, lab, warehouse, and/or plant floor working environments.
- Must have the ability to wear applicable personal protective equipment utilized at the site, including but not limited to respirators, safety glasses/goggles, and safety shoes.

Education and Job Qualification
- Minimum of High School/Trade School/Vocational School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Limited knowledge in performing essential Dispensing Equipment setup and SAP functions.
- Limited troubleshooting skills.
- Basic knowledge of cGMP and other pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
- Basic knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety procedures.
- Good Math and computer skills including MS Office and warehouse management systems (SAP).
- Good Interpersonal/communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills/attention to detail.
- The requirement for English language proficiency for this job role is Basic – A2 (comparable to Global CEFR Basic A2) level based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Experience
- Entry level position, previous experience not required.
- Experience on fork truck operations and use a plus.
Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
