Our India Consumer Healthcare Business

  • Reporting Manager- Head Consumer Insights
  • Reportees- Individual Contributor
  • Location- Mumbai (Work from Office; no WFH)

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Understanding the consumer needs, identify gaps & new opportunities
  • Developing appropriate research designs. Crafting RFPs and evaluating proposals
  • Communicating timely and actionable outputs and supporting internal teams in Marketing, Sales & Ops, Finance
  • Quarterly reporting of the track data, Nielsen / IQVIA data and household panel data in an easy format, and cascading the information to the relevant teams in order to ensure that required action is taken.
  • Conducting monthly, quarterly and annual analysis by triangulating various sources of data like HH Panel, Retail Audit, MT POS/ E-comm data, internal sales data, tracks, GRP/ SOV data etc. and bringing category, brand, market specific insights to the fore.
  • Actively drive the Insights culture within the organization through coaching of peers on how to read and use the data that is available.
  • Handle day to day agency relationships including identifying the best partners for the most efficient & effective research approach, supervision and ensuring delivery.

 

 Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

 

  • Any post-graduate degree (MBA is an advantage)
  • 8-10 years’ experience in quantitative consumer research & analytics with preferably at least 2 years’ experience with an FMCG or OTC company (i.e. client-side CMI experience)
  • Hands on experience in running different types of research studies is critical. The candidate should have research interest in both qualitative and quantitative methods. Past or current Nielsen / IQVIA retail data (RMS) handling experience is required
  • Must be able to manage conflicting agendas and drive for objective, fact-based resolution of debates.
  • Must have technology knowledge and communication knowledge and have the ability to influence and collaborate with teams, both by formal and informal communications and presentations.
  • Must have good internal stakeholder management skills.
