Key responsibilities:
1. Investigations & Case Management
Lead and manage mid-to-low complexity financial investigations independently.
Support complex investigations in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
Conduct interviews with complainants, witnesses, and subjects with professionalism and empathy.
Document findings in a clear, logical, and compelling manner that enables decision-making.
2. Data Analytics & Digital Forensics
Use advanced data analytics, AI tools, and forensic techniques to identify anomalies and trace digital footprints.
Analyze structured and unstructured data from internal systems and public databases to build investigative narratives.
Continuously explore and deploy new technologies to enhance investigative capabilities.
3. Monitoring & Proactive Risk Management
Design and implement proactive monitoring strategies to detect and prevent financial misconduct.
Develop dashboards, red-flag indicators, and early warning systems using financial and operational data.
Own the end-to-end deployment of risk mitigation strategies—from ideation to execution.
4. Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and conviction.
Prepare detailed investigation reports that withstand scrutiny and support disciplinary or legal actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, HR, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
5. Governance & Culture Building
Champion ethical conduct and integrity across the organization.
Contribute to policy enhancements and training programs based on investigation learnings.
Act as a role model for humility, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
6. Continuous Learning & Development
Stay abreast of global forensic accounting trends, regulatory changes, and investigative techniques.
Share knowledge and mentor junior team members informally, even in a non-managerial capacity (covering interns, etc.)

Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
Chartered Accountant (India)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience
Tenure: Minimum 7–9 years of post-qualification experience in forensic investigations & white-collar practice, ideally with a Big4 consulting firm, top-tier law firm, or relevant industry (Pharma preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum 2–3 years in a forensic or white-collar practice within a Big Four consulting, top-tier legal/law firm.
Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role, with a proven track record in financial investigations, fraud detection, and risk mitigation.
Exposure to whistleblower complaint handling, Continuous forensic monitoring and proactive, and Fraud Risk Assessment (FRA).
Fluency in a foreign language (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Russian) is a plus..
