Job Summary

This position’s primary responsibility is portfolio management, new product identification and BD support for advance markets (primarily Canada & Western Europe) generics portfolio. The responsibilities include opportunity study, product assessment & business case preparation for pipeline and new opportunities. The position serves as the primary representative and portfolio information provider to R&D, project management, sales & marketing and other stakeholders.

Areas Of Responsibility

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Responsible for new opportunity study, business case and product presentation
  • Preparing forecasts, business cases and value proposition for pipeline & new projects
  • Business Development support for Canada market
  • Responsible for providing details on portfolio to supply chain and sales & marketing for new launch
  • Scouting strategic in & out-licensing opportunities from current and new partner
  • Support negotiation’s & terms finalized on commercial and legal aspects in contracts viz. term sheet
  • Continuous identification of new Business Development opportunities
  • Maintains regular contact with all internal and external stakeholders’

 

 Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • General knowledge of pharmaceutical projects, clinical, regulatory and commercial aspects.
  • Ability to facilitate variety of working sessions including, but not limited to new products, project kick-off, approval, launches. 
  • Proficiency in using IQVIA, IPD, Evaluate, Global Data, Medi-Span, or other equivalent data mining tools
  • Understanding on legal, financial aspects of agreement. 
  • Strong analytical skill sets focused in financial/data modeling and forecasting
  • General understanding of building financial models including P&L, cash flow, profitability analysis, sensitivity analysis.
  • Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

A minimum of bachelor’s degree of science or equivalent is required, MBA is preferred.
