Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible to handle the Global inventory team and having knowledge in strategic planning, governance and continuous improvement of inventory management processes across markets and manufacturing plants to ensure optimal inventory levels.

Areas Of Responsibility

• Strategic Management:
• Develop and implement a sustainable inventory management strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Optimize safety stock, reorder levels, lead times ,etc to reduce inventory carrying cost while ensuring product availability.

• Operations & Control:
• Monitoring the inventory health chart on frequently
• Digitalization (automation, advanced analytics).
• Generation of MIS of inventory
• Cross functional team management for Optimizing the Gross inventory and reducing the SLOB inventory
• Optimization of P&L impact.

• Governance:
• Monitoring the manual intervention
• Monitoring the system hygiene.
• Trigging alert for master data management
• Monitoring the end to end visibility(Demand to Delivery)

• Leadership Management:
• Lead & mentor a team of inventory optimization cell ,Capability building and succession planning
• Drive change management initiatives and implement best practices in inventory management
• Driving the strategic and creative initiatives

• Advice and guidance to Business Development, R&D, Packing Development, Purchase etc., on International Logistics related issues.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field. Preferred PMP having Pharma ( Formulation) back ground

Experience

18–25 years of experience in supply chain / inventory management, with at least 8–10 years in leadership roles. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry 

Skills

Expertise in SAP / ERP inventory modules.

Strong analytical skills in end to End Supply chain process

Expertise in Power BI , Tableau and MS Excel

Proven track record of driving cost savings and process improvements
