Job Summary

Lead Total Rewards and Performance Management activities for North America Markets. Job role includes implementation of Performance Management process, finalization of ratings, compensation benchmarking, salary analysis, annual salary review, any off-cycle salary changes and other special projects such as driving performance-oriented culture, Job Evaluation, Rewards harmonization work in case of M&A scenario etc.

Area Of Responsibility

  • Driving Performance Management Process (NAM) - Driving Performance Management Process on OneHR and deliver performance priorities
      • Ensure timely closure of Goal Setting, Mid‐year and Year‐end Review for region along with ensuring adherence to the timelines for various stages within the individual processes
      • Conduct training sessions for employees in region
      • Address employee and HR concerns/queries w.r.t process and technology
      • Assist calibration owners and HRBPs to ensure smooth running of calibration sessions, while adhering to the calibration timeline for each level
      • Analyze and ensure adherence to the prescribed rating distribution for region
      • Drive rating calibration closure, promotion process and approvals for region
      • Ensure adherence to Performance Improvement process – Identification of employees, PIP initiation, interim process steps and timely closures through regular follow-ups with HR partners and Managers

 

  • Annual Salary Review, Performance Bonus & Long-Term Incentives (NAM) - Effective planning, design and execution of Annual Salary Review, Performance Bonus and Long-Term Incentives (LTI) for NAM region
      • Support in compensation benchmarking exercise for region through consulting partner by providing required data and getting timely reports
      • Compensation analysis - Understand roles and responsibilities existing in the organization, data provided by market and analyze market competitiveness for each employee in the region across various pay anchors
      • Undertake salary analysis and present results to relevant N-1s, HRBPs and MDs office
      • Prepare budget proposals basis market benchmarks on consolidated employee data and considering the market forecasts, business performance and other macroeconomic indicators
      • Help the local HR teams understand the market benchmark data and help them effectively carry out benchmarking to devise pay ranges and eventually support in salary review
      • Design communication collaterals for various stakeholders on the salary review process and guidelines.
      • Ensure data readiness for the purpose of timely go live in the salary review tool for all employees
      • Prepare increment files for manager inputs and N-2,N-1 final approvals
      • Ensure that the salary review guidelines and budgets are adhered to by highlighting outliers and getting requisite approvals from the stakeholders
      • Communication of revised salary through online letters tool and roll-out of revised compensation through Payroll
      • Ensure readiness of data in collaboration with Finance team and country HR team for appropriate business performance indicators for all employees eligible for performance bonus & LTI
      • Execute roll out of performance bonus & LTI awards by way of taking relevant approvals, preparation of training material for rollout, and payment of applicable awards through Payroll
      • Maintain appropriate audit trail for each employee

 

  • Other Activities:
      • Ensure appropriate grading of newly created positions by performing job evaluations in collaboration with the country HR team and the business stakeholders.
      • Support global mobility of talent by ensuring competitive salary and benefit packages for employees moving into the North America Region
      • Design and deployment of recognition platform for NAM

 

  • Projects:
      • Drive performance management process improvement projects (goal audit, standard goals, rating assessment etc.) in the region
      • Support the implementation of transition plan for outliers in the Senior Management basis job evaluation outcomes.
      • Ensure organizational readiness with respect to regulatory changes pertaining to compensation (for e.g. pay transparency) in collaboration with country HR & legal teams.
      • Ensure competitiveness of benefits in the North America Market by undertaking benefits benchmarking as per business needs
      • Implement Global Total Rewards projects in the region eg: Job Evaluation / technology platform
      • Support any other projects basis organization priorities
