Key responsibilities:

 

ESG Capabilities Requirement

 

  • Help in building a long-term plan in line with global strategy on sustainability mandate, tracking relevant ESG KPIs and targets
  • Knowledge and ability to drive all ESG related actions and reporting requirement for BRSR, CDP, S&P Global (DJSI), UNGC, CSRD, Annual Sustainability Reporting, MSCI, Sustain analytics, etc.
  • Knowledge and understanding on ESG Standards – GRI, UNSDG, SBTi, NGRBC Principles, etc
  • Guide internal teams/departments to improve their ESG framework and reporting
  • Data/information collation for all reporting requirements. Follow-up with various departments/teams across locations and functions to collect data and information.
  • Expertise in analyzing/validating the data collated and ability to discuss with concerned stakeholders for any data issues, probable gaps and corrections.
  • Gap assessment and recommending ESG improvements to the senior management.
  • Lead all reporting compilation including liaison with external partners towards timely closure
  • Leading assurance (audit) for ESG related disclosures
  • Prepare quarterly ESG updates for presenting to the Board, Managing Director and Senior Management. Suggest improvement areas and action plan for such improvements.
  • Perform periodic peer and competitor benchmarking across certain key metrics and disclosures.

 

Preferred Education Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in ESG domain
  • Post Graduate - M-Tech/MBA in Sustainability from a reputed accredited university/college
  • Preferred Graduation - B.E., Chemical/Mechanical Engineering from a reputed accredited university/college
  • Understanding of ESG Standards/Reporting Framework, practices and challenges.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, analytical skills and ability to engage with stakeholders across functions and grades; Work collaboratively with teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and flexible to handle peak workload
  • Willingness to take up overall ownership and not limited by job description for role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS office, Power Point, Excel, MS-Word, etc.
