Key responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

• Assist in financial reporting, variance analysis, and management reporting requirements
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities including accounting entries in accordance with established timelines
• Perform detailed GL reviews ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations and proactively resolve aged or unreconciled items
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (Ind-AS), company policies, and internal control requirements
• Maintain and monitor internal controls documentation and support control testing activities

Audit and Compliances

• Coordinate with external and internal auditors to ensure timely closure of quarterly and annual audit requirements
• Assist in regulatory and statutory compliance activities, including XBRL filings, tax audits, and other applicable submissions

Technology and Digital Initiatives

• Utilize SAP FICO for accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and financial data analysis
• Strong proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, Powerpoint, Word
• Identify and work on opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation across financial reporting

Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional departments including shared services, tax, treasury to support reporting requirements and resolve accounting issues
