Job Summary:

Managerial role in IP litigations – responsible for FTO evaluations & IP risk mapping for Finished products across global markets, providing IP litigation support to various stakeholders, and managing the deliverables in time with quality

Responsibilities:

  • IP Litigations – Good understanding of Hatch Waxman litigations, preparation & review of Notice letters, document collection, monitoring dockets, and interactions with counsels
  • Detailed Freedom to Operate (FTO) evaluations for Finished Products –Interaction with FRD, PMO & Portfolio
  • Identifying & reviewing key third party patents, early stage evaluation of risks & mitigations
  • Timely support to Portfolio, Business Development, R & D, PMO, Regulatory, and Commercial teams
  • New Product Opportunity Identification for global markets based on IP scenarios
  • Mapping of Competitive Intelligence, regulatory dynamics and aligning with IP strategies

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

Master of Pharmacy or M.S. or M. Tech.

(Pharmaceutics or Chemistry preferred)

Specific Certification

P.G. Diploma in Patents Law (preferred)

Skills

Sound understanding of IP dynamics, technical skills, Good communication skills, Team player, Agility & adaptability

Experience

Around 8-10 years of relevant experience in FTO & Litigations
