Title: Head - Media Buying
Job Description :
As the media head, play a key role in shaping & steering media strategy. The person will oversee the planning & execution of our campaigns across various platforms which will help us achieve our business goals.
- Media strategy development : Craft and implement media strategies based on competition benchmarking
- Budget management : oversee media budget, ensure efficient allocation and maximizing return on investment.
- Market Analysis : keep abreast of media trends, market dynamics and use insights to optimise media strategies & tactics.
- Campaign management & monitoring: Supervise plans – mid evals & corrective actions to maximise for efficiencies
- Stakeholder engagement : collaborate with internal teams – digital & category teams and external partners for coherent and effective media planning & deployment.
- Cadence & Adherence : Ensure monthly & quarterly updates with the media agency.
Candidate we should look for :-
For this position (Media Head), we are looking at someone who has 12-15 years of experience is media planning (buying experience is a bonus but not essential). The person should have good experience of both digital and conventional media channels. The experience could be in a media agency or in a company with a well-structured media team in a large Consumer Healthcare/ FMCG company. It would be an individual contributor role.
