Job Summary

The Head of Costing is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the cost management function across Sun Global Pharmaceutical Operations (Formulations + API). This role involves Global Product Costing, Budgeting &  Standard Cost setting , Transfer pricing ,  Controls through Variance Analysis and providing Strategic and financial insights to enhance profitability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in pharmaceuticals costing, supply chain finance and compliance with industry regulations.

Areas of Responsibility

• Manage Global Costing Systems and Processes across Sun Supply Network with an objective to standardize and provide effective support to Business.
• Partnering cost improvement programs as a part of product Life cycle Management.
• Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to monitor and support cost reduction initiatives.
• Annual/ Periodic Standard Cost setting in coordination with procurement , production and finance teams.
• Collaborate with market and finance teams to support Pricing strategies , Profitability analysis and Gross Margin improvements.
• Support Transfer Pricing and Intercompany profit elimination
• Global Inventory Policies and Procedures. Ensure accuracy and transparency in Inventory valuations.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis for New product introduction and R&D projects.
• Administers SAP/ERP costing modules (Material Ledger, Costing and Master data integrity etc.). Leverage systems to automate and enhance costing processes.
• Interface with auditors, regulatory bodies and tax authorities on cost related matters.

Key Skills:

Strong Knowledge of SAP (CO module)

Excellent Analytical , Problem Solving and Leadership Skill.

Ability to manage cross functional teams and drive cost optimization initiatives.

Strong Communication and Stakeholder management skills
