Job Description:
The Engineering Technical Training Specialist will be responsible to design, develop and implement Engineering and Maintenance related technical training programs and workshops. They will work closely with the business to understand the skills and capabilities required at operations and create effective training materials.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop comprehensive technical training content that covers all aspects of Pharmaceutical Utility Operations and Engineering & Maintenance. This includes creating presentations, guides, manuals, and other training materials in various forms.
- Assessment Design: Design and implement assessment tools to measure employee understanding and retention of training materials.
- Learning Solutions: Identify and propose innovative learning solutions to improve the effectiveness of our training programs.
- Training: Conduct technical training sessions and workshops. This includes both in-person and virtual training sessions.
- Train-The-Trainer (TTT): Prepare and equip our internal trainers with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively deliver our technical training programs.
Key skills required:
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of the technical aspects of the Pharma Utility operations and Process Equipment maintenance. This includes knowledge of the processes, equipment, systems, and technologies used in the organization.
- Instructional Design: Ability to design effective training programs and materials. This includes understanding how people learn, and being able to create content that caters to different learning styles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. The specialist must be able to explain complex technical concepts in a way that is easy to understand.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively present training material in a clear and engaging manner.
- Assessment Design: Experience in designing assessments to measure the effectiveness of the training program and the trainees’ understanding of the material.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with others to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in the organization and the needs of the learners.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems and come up with effective solutions.
Domain Expertise: A min of 15 Years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Equipment maintenance and Utility systems, with a deep understanding of the processes, technologies, and regulations specific to this area.
Qualifications:
- B. Tech / M. Tech in Mechanical or Instrumentation or Electrical
- Proven experience as a Technical Training Specialist or similar role.
- Excellent understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
- Proficient in MS Office and Learning Technologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking ability.
