JOB DESCRIPTION:
Primary Responsibility:
Improve EHS awareness across the offices by conducting trainings in the Mumbai Offices and implement new initiatives
Ensure adherence of Health, environment and safety compliance as per the Shop & Establishment Rule, Environment Act, Fire Rule and other applicable legislations.
Implementation Corporate EHS Policies, standards and guidelines.
Oversee EHS related compliances are adhered in the corporate offices on daily basis.
Ensure permit system for any non-routine job.
Keep ready the offices for any emergency situations.
Conducting fire drill and mock drills at the offices.
Check & monitor the firefighting system at the Mumbai office. Operation of fire hydrant system & maintenance of fire hydrant system and maintain the required documents.
Operation & maintenance of fire extinguisher on monthly basis & maintain the required document.
Inspection & maintenance of EHS critical equipment like fire alarm system, public address system, first-aid boxes, and other emergency equipment.
Organizing safety committee meetings and follow up for implementation on action points on monthly basis.
Investigate the cause of the incidents and follow up for implementation of corrective measures
Ensure proper treatment of sewage generated in the corporate office. Treated effluent shall meet the parameter prescribed by State Pollution Control Board.
Ensure safe disposal of Hazardous waste generated at the site.
Prepare EHS OPEX and CAPEX budget for the site and track them for completion.
Close liaison with SPCB, Fire Dept. And other regulatory officials.
EHS promotional activities.
Employee EHS engagement events/ program- organizing national safety week, world environment day, road safety week, fire week etc. at the corporate offices.
Ensure EHS statutory returns & license renewal are submitted on time.
Compliance of plastic waste management rule –fulfillment of EPR targets, filing annual returns.

Educational Qualification
BE / MSc /B.Sc. + PG Diploma in Industrial safety
Experience
6-8 Years of experience in EHS preferably in corporate office/commercial buildings.
