Key responsibilities:

 

Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics/ Instrumentation), 2–6 years of experience, preferably in pharma manufacturing.

 

  1. Responsible to attend daily break down of laboratory instruments and coordination with outside service provider to attend the instrument break down.
  2. Responsible to initiate purchase request for purchasing instrument spares / service parts and tracking procurement of laboratory spares. Maintaining and updating instrument spares and consumables.
  3. Responsible to provide Service reports of vender service engineer, Qualification documents and Maintenance record
  4. Initiating and completing planned modification approval for instrument installation and closing the same after completion of activity.
  5. Responsible to initiate annual Capex for new instruments requirement
  6. Checking site readiness and making necessary arrangement for installation of new instruments.
  7. Co-ordinate with vendor's instrument engineer for qualification of instruments.
  8. Review of qualification protocols for adequacy before pre-approval and ensuring qualification is completed as per the approved protocol.
  9. Preparing qualification protocols in case of shifting of instruments or if needed for new instruments.
  10. Performing qualification of instruments shifted from one laboratory to other.
  11. Preparation of SOP for newly installed instruments.
  12. To get annual maintenance contract done with various service providers for needed instruments by getting offer and raising purchase request.
  13. Preparing and updating preventive maintenance schedule of laboratory instruments. Ensuring the preventive maintenance completed as per schedule by annual maintenance contract agency service engineer or by in house. Maintaining preventive maintenance records, Instrument history card and preventive cards related documents.
