Key responsibilities:

 

  • Should have knowledge of SAP system/APO / Kinaxis systems
  • Ensure continuous improvement in key Metrics like DvsC and CvsS, Sufficiency risk, Back orders, Inventory optimization, Capacity utilization etc.
  • Take responsibility of plant Supply planning including Production Planning, commits finalization, prepare DCS, run MRP, RM/PM availability and Inventory Control & optimization, Master data hygiene etc.
  • Coordinating for plant functional activities within plant and outside plant including commercial, Central Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Marketing, Regulatory, PDD, MSTG, R&D and ADD in coordinated and productive manner for achieving desired outcome.
  • Analyze the RFC (Rolling Forecast) every month along with new product launching across all market in terms of value, volume, capacity & material availability etc.
  • To convert RFC (Rolling forecast) to an executable monthly production plan within framework of rough-cut capacity and materials planning.
  • Share the RFC with respective plant stakeholders. Based on market priority, manufacturing and execution plan etc, pre-commits to be prepared for M1 to M3 month and share with market.
  • Post commit release, ensure S&OPs / commit alignment calls with each market demand planning team & capture the suggested changes in final commit release
  • To act as a continuous interface between plant & demand planning/ business, to ensure Market priorities are highlighted / serviced and provide inputs to manufacturing as per plan.
  • Tracking daily production, packaging, release, OOS/OOT/UPDs investigation closures to meet targeted C-S
  • Master data management. Pre-MRP hygiene including recipe and missing master data updation.
  • Ensure timely MRP run with validation of MRP output and transfer PRs to procurement team
  • Co-ordination with respective stake holders at plant (Stores, QA, QC, Microbiology etc) for timely release of RM/ PM and FG and ensure maximum utilization of resources.
  • Daily performance dialogue with Production, Technology Transfer, QA, QC, RA, Warehouse & Purchase for avoid delay / issue resolutions and achieving the desired production/release plan
  • Co-ordination with procurement team for availability of optimum RM/ PM in time
  • Inventory control for excess, non-moving & expired inventory. Ensure optimization of an inventory with NIL shortages against production plan and appropriate implementation of safety norms. Review and timely cleaning of Non-Moving and expired inventory thru destruction, plant to plant transfer, Code to Code transfer or sale off with coordination with SLOB team /commercial team / ware house.
  • Regular review, validate & updating of safety stock norms, MOQ, Lead time, GR time etc. for effective material planning & Inventory management.

 

  • Preparation of DCS, S&OP, executive S&OP, Sufficiency review, monthly/ quarterly review data with right reasoning as per management requirement. Interface with different functions at various level of detail, with the ability to Draft presentations, summarize and highlight issues to Executive Level management
  • Effective management of Artwork changes, RM/PM changes with close co-ordination between corresponding stakeholders.
  • Handling of Planned and Unplanned deviation, Investigation and Change control. Implementation of corrective and preventive action
  • Ensuring continual improvement, training, following cGMP as per various regulatory and patient safety requirement. Ensuring team development and attrition control. Apart from this any other tasks/responsibilities provided by management and/or reporting managers. To follow the Current Good Manufacturing Practices and all the relevant SOPs in Supply Chain and production planning

Educational Qualification

B. Pharm/M. Pharma, BE/ME with MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, etc.

Experience: Min 5-7 years of experience in Pharma / Nutrition / Foods Manufacturing / Supply chain operations

 

Hands on experience in planning tools like SAP, KINAXIS, XLS etc

Tenure:  8-10 year
