Key responsibilities:

To maintain and ensure cGMP / cGLP in the microbiology laboratory.
	To perform the activity as per work allotment & should upkeep of Laboratory working area.
	Daily cleaning of lab, preparation of cleaning reagents, Monitoring of Microbiology lab and maintenance of record of the same.
	Microbiological analysis of Raw materials (API and excipients), packaging materials, finished products, in- process analysis, Biological indicators.
	Responsible for operation of VITEK 2 compact and identification of in house isolates and master cultures.
	Preparation and disposable of microbiological media and its accurate documentation with media stock maintenance.
	Sub culturing and maintenance of master cultures and in house isolates.
	Responsible for receipt of cultures and stock maintenance of the media.
	Observation and release of culture plates and environmental monitoring samples.
	Should check result for test performed for compliance with the standards specified in specification and should not discard test preparations or standard preparations before the data are reviewed and verified.
	Should follow correct analytical techniques during preparation of solutions like weighing pipetting, filtration etc.
	Should perform testing of samples as per procedure specified in specification and make concomitant entries in test data sheet.
	Should be aware of potential problems that could occur during the testing process and should watch for steps that could create inaccurate results.
To ensure all operation in micro lab carried out as per the written procedure.
To perform the daily verification / calibration of instruments and report the result of calibration in respective template.
Responsible for disinfectant efficacy test and its proper documentation.
To ensure timely Qualification, Maintenance, Calibration of Instrument / Equipment’s related to microbiology laboratory.
To complete all the assigned training as per job role requirements.
Any other additional work allocated by reporting authority.
