Key responsibilities:

·  Plan, coordinate, and execute daily/weekly/monthly packing schedules.

·  Ensure adherence to production targets and timelines.

·  Monitor line efficiency, output, and downtime; initiate improvements.

·  Optimize utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

·  Ensure strict adherence to cGMP, GDP, and regulatory guidelines (USFDA, MHRA, WHO, etc.).

·  Maintain documentation as per regulatory requirements (BMR/BPR, logs, SOPs).

·  Support audits (internal, external, regulatory) and ensure audit readiness.

·  Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for deviations.

·  Ensure packing activities comply with approved specifications and SOPs.

·  Coordinate with QA/QC for in-process checks and release activities.

·  Investigate deviations, OOS, and customer complaints related to packing.

·  Lead, train, and supervise packing team (operators, supervisors).

·  Conduct skill development, performance reviews, and training programs.

·  Ensure discipline, safety culture, and adherence to company policies.

·  Ensure proper functioning of packing lines (blister, bottle, strip packing).

·  Coordinate with engineering for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

·  Support qualification and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).

·  Drive operational excellence initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).

·  Improve yield, reduce wastage, and increase efficiency.

·  Implement cost-saving and process improvement projects.

·  Ensure compliance with EHS policies and safety procedures.

·  Promote safe work practices and zero-accident culture.

·  Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
