Co-ordination with production personnel, contractors & machine manufacturers to sort out machine related problems, major or minor modifications for smooth running of the process. Tracking & maintaining the critical spares required for preventive and routine maintenance. Planning various maintenance schedules and lead the team of technicians to ensure implementation of the schedules with the help of junior sub-ordinates for improving the overall reliability of the equipment. To facilitate safety in working environment by implementing EHS policy Responsible for sourcing of machine, tooling, consumable parts and related services and Interacting with user departments for analysing the required material. Facing customer audits & taking corrective actions as per audit requirements Preparing reports on Maintenance performance & technical data of various equipment, spare parts, labour and machines for resources planning, budgeting, scheduling and executing Operation and Preventive Maintenance activities. Executing cost saving & energy saving techniques & modifications to achieve substantial reduction in expenditures & work within the budgets Ensure the timely calibration of measuring the instruments and control devices as per SOPs. Coordinating with the vendors for arranging supplies as per schedules and inventory management. Procurement, inspection (FAT), installation, commissioning, maintenance of plant machineries. Preparation, planning and monitoring of running project Installation, commissioning of the plant machines as per drawing/ layout. To provide training to engineering team to improve job efficiency and enhance work quality in the work place. Equipment Knowledge: In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including HVAC systems, and production machinery. Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and other industry standards. Preventive Maintenance: Ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues promptly. Capability to analyze data and trends to predict and prevent potential failures. Experience in leading and managing a team of technicians and engineers, including training and development. Skills in planning, executing, and overseeing maintenance projects within budget and time constraints. Strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to enforce them to ensure a safe working environment. Commitment to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing more efficient maintenance processes. Openness to adopting new technologies and systems to enhance maintenance operations. Can effectively oversee the maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and overall operational efficiency in a pharmaceutical setting
