Key responsibilities:

Diagnose malfunctioning of systems, apparatus and components to locate the root cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

Carry out scheduled maintenance activity and inspect systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair to improve overall efficiency of the system and equipment

Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance of all equipment.

Preparation, maintain and update the SOPs, maintenance schedules, planners etc. periodically

Responsible for overall calibration activity in OSD, SH and Warehouse

Provide prompt response to user whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible

Assist in forecasting requirements and scheduling expenses for the consumable items, spare parts in the department

Keep record of all stock and supplies of all equipment spares, items, instruments and assist the management in forecasting requirements and scheduling expenses to maintain the consumables

Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process

Perform energy audit internally and recommend alternative sources of energy for effective cost and energy savings

Ensure that all utility supply, gadgets and instruments are switched off after close of work daily.

Learn new skills and attend training programs in other to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry

Provide safe working environment for members of staff and ensure accidents and mishaps are prevented.

Provide 24 hours a day maintenance services or assign technical staff to do so

Supervise electrical works when new projects are undertaken

Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations

Follow GEP in daily work culture to build enhance performance and efficiency of equipment, system and organization

Follow GMP practices, guidelines, schedules and SOPs.

Preparation, recording, update, maintain the schedules, planner, SOPs, records as per standards.

Prepare QRB Data for Preventive Maintenance and Calibration at the end of every month
