Key responsibilities:

1. Must be well versed with statutory requirement as per National Building codes on Fire safety, Environment protection act to ensure compliance.
2. Sound Knowledge about Incinerator, ETP, STP, ZLD operation and trouble shooting.
3. Command over fire alarm, Gas suppression systems and Fire Hydrant operations and trouble shooting.
4. Sound knowledge about sustainability reporting
5. Enhance the waste minimization techniques and promote sustainability
6. Preparation and execution of environmental monitoring plan
7. Knowledge about environment aspect and impact assessment and ISO 14001: 2015 certification
8. Ensure proper disposal of waste generated inside the company premises
9. Must be instrumental with departments in planning and organizing measures necessary for the effective control of incidents.
10. Keep close monitoring on effective implementation of inspection/audit observations and CAPA.
11. Motivate and support end users on wearing of personal protective equipment’s s per their operational hazard.
12. To carry out plant safety inspections in order to observe the physical conditions of work and work practices and procedures followed by workers and to render advice on measures to be adopted for removing unsafe physical conditions and preventing unsafe actions by staff.
13. Must be instrumental in incident investigation and advice on matters related to reporting and investigation of industrial accidents and diseases.
14. To organize in association with concerned departments, campaigns, competitions, contests and other activities which will develop and help maintain safe conditions at work.
15. Design and develop training modules suitable for R&D operations.
16. Monitoring of permit to work system
17. Safety culture meter reporting
18. Vell versed to face external audits and Inspection from Regulatory authorities
