Key responsibilities

1. To execute production activities as per production planning, coordinate with-MM/warehouse for RM availability / QC QA for analysis & release / Engineering/ utilities for maintenance activities and incessant utility supplies, production planning department / Time office, security office, effluent treatment plant etc.
2. To ensure online documentation with respect to production department (BPR, equipment log book, cleaning records, calibration record, in-process quality control records etc.)
3. To ensure the plant operations are carried out with safety procedures, cGMP and SOPs during process operations.
4. To be on their dedicated work station & proper hand over the charge to another employee. (Who is well trained to performed the task) and inform his superior prior leaving the workplace
5. To review the draft MPR w.r.t. raw material qty. & ratio, equipment no, process parameters, limit of in-process checks etc. during preparation.
6. To initiate unplanned/ planned deviations, if any and inculcate subordinates to report deviations instantaneously.
7. To ensure that the ISO 14004 & OHSAS 18001 requirements and related documents are maintained.
8. To impart training to subordinates to upgrade their skill & knowledge.
9. Issuance of documents for operational use.
10. To maintain discipline and high morale in employee & to ensure the plant facilities and surrounding area is clean and presentable.
11. To ensure that harmonious relation is maintained among the employees.
12. Effective communication to superiors as well as subordinates in order to carry out work and its follow up according to instructions.
13. To assist manger-production in handling internal/external audits and its compliance.
14. To ensure execution of validation and qualification activities as per approved protocol and procedures.
15. Manpower planning as per shift requirements and optimum utilization of available resources for maximum productivity
16. Reviewing all production batch records and ensuring that these are completed and signed.
17. Should have SAP and DCS system knowledge
