Key responsibilities

1. To ensure maintenance and modification of existing facilities of organization complying to latest international standard and User/Product/Process requirements as per approved budgets and timelines so as to create additional manufacturing capability and contribute towards growth plan of the organization
2. To ensure cost effective and timely completion of work as required by User and c GMP standards for various routine/New /Modification undertaken by the Dept.
3. Adherence to SOPs.
4. To ensure implementation of approved budget/capex.
5. To ensure compliance to PM, Shutdown maintenance as per schedule.
6. To coordinate with purchase dept. for Enquiries, Negotiation, Finalization, and procurement of materials, Dispatch & Installation, for various works undertaken by the dept.
7. To coordinate with various agencies deputed at site for timely completion with required quality standard of work.
8. To coordinate with consultants for design and timely availability of drawings at site
9. Develop new construction techniques & modern technology for Cost effective and timely completion with improved quality.
10. To discuss and coordinate with team member of other disciplines with in dept. to ensure smooth working and proper sequence of work to avoid any re work afterwards.
11. To coordinate with local Manufacturing.QA-QC, HR, Security, EHS, Stores & Users for smooth functioning of engineering related work.
12. To get job done from contractor as per drawing, design & specs/BOQ.
13. To check quality standards of activities & safety at site.
14. To appraise status of activities to Superior time to time.
15. To verify measurements submitted by Consultant/Contractor.
16. Compliance of all laid down Policies and Guidelines.
17. To ensure growth and progress of team members
18. Changes in schedule if required for improvement in overall schedule.
19. Review and decisions complying to organizational procedure, guidelines, Policies in consultation with designated authorities.
20. Work related to Enquiries, Negotiation, Finalization, Approval, Ordering, Dispatch & Installation, Post Order follow-up and Order Closer is generated within the Department.
