Key responsibilities:
EHS culture building: To work with site leadership team and improve the site EHS culture by focusing on 1.1 Visible felt leadership 1.2 Engaging the employees in EHS 1.3 Improving line accountability in EHS1.4 Capability and competency building
Implement EHS standards and EHS interim actions
Make standard implementation teams. 2.2 Work with the teams for implementation of standards and interim action plan.
Risk and Emergency Management: Identify all possible risks and foreseeable emergencies, develop control and preventive measures, review implementation of risk mitigation guidelines, develop, communicate and simulate emergency response plans IN ORDER TO mitigate potential business risks from EHS perspective and prevent and address emergencies effectively.

EHS Incident Investigation and Reporting: Conduct effective Investigations of the incidents along with the investigation team and track the completion of CAPA Conduct analysis of the Incidents and identify the focus areas or training needs.
Effluent Treatment Plant: To Monitor smooth operation of ETP and other Environment Protection system/process. The system should operate within the prescribed consent conditions
Effluent Treatment Plant: Participate in risk assessment meetings 7.1. Before new product is transferred to the plants 7.2. Before new plant construction is conceptualized.
Maintain Process safety Database and Best Practices: Collect the list of chemicals, (both for APIs & chemicals), find the process safety data from various online sources, update the list of chemicals, Share and Implement the best practice received from Regional / Global EHS, where they can be applied
To create EHS Awareness: Communicate the Incidences as & when, across the site/departments. Conducting Tool box / PEP talks IN ORDER TO ensure a proactive mechanism in place & keeping employees aware of the recent incidences & required safety measures
Training / capability development system: Develop training need analysis / modules /calendar covering appropriate personnel. 1. To help and guide the teams in implementing the standards. 2. Improve the capability of plant personnel in implementing standards at site. 3. Deliver awareness trainings to plant heads, SLT, zone owners and shift in charges on standards and their implementation.
EHS regulatory compliance: To conduct gap analysis with respect to the requirement of EHS licenses and the conditions mentioned in the licenses and make an action plan and track it.
Industrial EHS Database and Best Practices
Share and track for implementation of EHS good practices. 2. Create a system for encouraging to share the EHS good practices.
