Title:  Senior Officer - Bottle Packing

Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth operation of the bottle packing line in the OSD plant while maintaining compliance with cGMP, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor bottle packing line equipment such as bottle unscrambler, filler, capper, induction sealer, labeller, and cartooning machine.
• Ensure availability of packing materials as per batch requirements.
• Review and maintain all relevant packing documents such as BMR, BPR, logbooks, and online documentation.
• Coordinate with QA, Engineering, and Warehouse departments for line clearance, equipment maintenance, and material availability.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and GMP norms during packing operations.
• Perform in-process checks such as weight variation, torque, sealing, and labeling accuracy.
• Supervise and guide operators and contract manpower to meet daily production targets.
• Support implementation of 5S, lean practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handle deviations, breakdowns, and escalate issues to seniors where required.
• Ensure cleaning and line clearance activities as per protocol.
• Train new operators on machine handling and SOPs.

Key Requirements:

Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm 

Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on experience in bottle packing of solid oral dosage forms (Tablets/Capsules)

Skills:

• Sound knowledge of packing machines.
• Understanding of GMP, safety norms, and regulatory requirements
• Good documentation and communication skills
• Basic troubleshooting and team coordination skills
