The Senior Manager Market Access Canada will primarily be responsible for the successful development, delivery and management of Market Access plans and programs across all brands. Ability to communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders on market access issues, timelines, data and planning.

 

The Senior Manager Market Access Canada will be responsible for planning and execution of all Market Access requirements for the Canada team.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute reimbursement strategies through business analytics and market access research
  • Ensure the coherence and integration of market access strategies with sales, marketing and medical
  • Offer strategic counsel to cross-functional colleagues regarding market access and reimbursement
  • Ensure required resources are secured to deliver market access objectives across all brands
  • Monitor reimbursement landscape to assess potential risks and opportunities
  • Manage the team budget for assigned therapeutic area for market access plans
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with vendors to optimize working relationships for deliverables
  • Engage payor groups to better understand the value story of our medicines
  • Collaborate with patient support and advocacy groups across Canada, representing Sun Pharma Canada.
  • Lead cross functional team on market access planning for Canada with various payors public and private
  • Manage the Market Access budgets for prelaunch, launch, post launch and LCM
  • Utilize best practices in economic analysis (HEOR) design to create engaging, effective Market Access materials for submissions to payors.
  • Ability to manage multiple market access vendors for timelines, quality and deliverables
  • Knowledge of PMBRB regulations and reporting requirements
  • Manage a project plan, including completing projects on time and within the provided budget while collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with members of the larger Market Access team, marketing, sales leadership, Medical Affairs compliance, sales operations, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and report results
  • Able to contribute will colleagues as part of a North American Market Access team.

 

Additional responsibility (Only applicable to customer facing roles)

 

Report any adverse event received from customers for company products to the pharmacovigilance department / Drug Safety on the same day or within 1 business day

 

Qualifications

 

  • University degree in the scientific field. Studies in HEOR analysis
  • Minimum of 5 years direct experience in Market Access
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian reimbursement landscape Public and Private payor
  • Proven project and time management skills
  • Experience in negotiations with public and private insurers
  • Solid understanding of pricing and reimbursement principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work in teams, collaborate, and lead by influence
  • French Language ability is an asset

 

Working conditions

 

Office based time 80 percent, travel time 20 percent

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $121,500 to $148,500 . Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; RRSP savings plan; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
