Job purpose
As a Marketing Intern with the Canadian Commercial Team, you will support the Marketing Team in executing marketing initiatives that promote Sun Pharma Canada Inc.’s (SPCI) brand and product portfolio. You will help develop HCP‑facing materials, assist with promotional activities, and contribute to communication efforts that support both our Sales Team and HCP partners.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating promotional activities for the Generic (Gx) and Consumer Healthcare portfolios.
- Support the Marketing team in the development of corporate materials and HCP‑facing marketing assets.
- Coordinate with external vendors to support the production and distribution of marketing materials.
- Prepare portfolio materials that support the existing Sun Pharma product portfolio, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
- Assist in organizing and distributing marketing tools and materials to the Sales Team.
- Support the development of a pharmacy student and school engagement plan, including outreach, student‑focused initiatives, and brand awareness activities.
- Assist with ad hoc projects in partnership with other commercial divisions such as Market Access, Business Development, and Product Marketing, contributing to cross‑functional initiatives and strategic planning.
Additional responsibility (Only applicable to customer facing roles)
Report any adverse event received from customers for company products to the pharmacovigilance department / Drug Safety on the same day or within 1 business day
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recently graduated University degree or diploma preferably in Pharmacy, Marketing, Science or Business
- Minimum of 1-2 years of marketing experience (preferably in the pharmaceutical or generic industry) preferred
- Bilingual is a strong asset, but not required (English and French) preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and a willingness to embrace technology
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team navigating multiple priorities
- Some understanding of the Canadian pharmaceutical market would be an asset - preferred
