Job purpose
The successful candidate will work across the Canada Innovative Medicine (IM) and Generics (GRx) business to provide CRM oversight and IC plan development and implementation. Additionally, identify potential marketplace opportunities based on CRM analysis and salesforce structure and program developments. The candidate will work collaboratively with Brand Management and GRx business leaders and other cross functional members to synthesize findings into actionable insights is critical to this role. In addition, she/he will bring a comprehensive outside-in perspective to shape Brand and/or New Product strategies impacting field performance. The deliverables are to manage vendors, design, update and maintain and extract key data sets to enable metrics on performance, targets, field planning and events (CRM system). The candidate will develop systematic performance metrics reports/dashboards and verify IC payouts based on reward on performance planning.
Duties and responsibilities
- Drive comprehensive outside-in strategic perspective bringing value adding insights on patients, customers, competitors, payers and regulators. Strong focus on analytics and performance metrics.
- Integrate research, intelligence, analytics and intuition to generate insights that enable fact based decision making
- Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment with business priorities. CRM system and IC planning.
- Translate business needs into data-driven solutions across multiple domains
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design scalable data models and workflows
- Partner with data scientists and analysts to drive insights, machine learning deployment, and automation use cases
- Support data governance processes, including stewardship, lineage, and data quality frameworks
- Establish standards for data documentation and governance across the data lifecycle- CRM and IC planning
- Oversee development and maintenance of dashboards to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
- Metrics development for insights and actions- field performance
Additional responsibility (Only applicable to customer facing roles)
Report any adverse event received from customers for company products to the pharmacovigilance department / Drug Safety on the same day or within 1 business day
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
· 7+ years of experience in data analytics or related fields within the pharmaceutical industry is required
· Proven ability to manage complex data projects across multiple stakeholders
· Proficiency in Python and SQL/CRM systems
· Strong understanding of data engineering, analytics lifecycle, governance, and reporting best practices
· Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skill
- Superior analytical skills – high comfort in using tools (eg Excel) to analyze and visualize data via standard tools/charting methods; ability to effectively present and defend analyses
- Project Management Excellence in facilitation, cross functional teams within a high matrix environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to engage and interact effectively with leadership; understand show to read audience and customize approach accordingly
- Deals well with ambiguity / intensity – operates well in a fast-paced environment driven by leadership requests and evolving needs of the franchise
- Accountable: makes things happen; takes responsibility for execution; speaks up and voices opinion
- Strong analytic skills, administrative and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and basic analytics platforms
- Proficiency in the French language is an asset

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $100,000 to $122,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; RRSP savings plan; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
