Title: Associate, Marketing
Job purpose
As a valuable member of the Canadian Commercial Team, you will be responsible for supporting the Manager, Marketing with Trade Marketing activities geared towards promoting Sun Pharma Canada Inc’s. (SPCI) product portfolio and helping to develop customer facing value added programs. You will work to keep our customers and our Sales Team informed though effective, timely communication and work to manage all aspects of SPCI’s promotional and tradeshow activities for the Generic and Consumer Healthcare business. You will liaise closely with the Sun Pharma Sales Team supporting them with tools and programs to effectively achieve and exceed sales targets and will also use your marketing experience to enhance our customer facing marketing assets and initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Sun Pharma Canada Inc’s promotional activity for the Gx and Consumer Healthcare business
- Monitor the Sun Pharma Canada website; provide suggestions on improvement and update when required
- Support the overall Marketing team with developing corporate material used to enhance the Sun Pharma’s portfolio across Canada
- Support the submission and monitoring of the operating budget to ensure accurate tracking and alignment with departmental budget
- Help manage external vendors to develop, print and distribute Sun Pharma marketing materials
- Work with Corporate Accounts and the Retail Sales Team on the coordination and execution of customer tradeshow events
- Set up and attend customer events to ensure the Sun Pharma brand is well represented
- Work with Product Management to ensure marketing collateral is ready for product launches, product updates and other communication is disseminated accurately and timely
- Oversee the distribution of materials to the sales force
- Provide support with Customer Service inquires directly related to marketing activities and events
- Manage, track and enhance customer programs offered to our clients to ensure good uptake, positive experience and successful execution of all SPCI value added strategies
- Work with our Customer Service, Marketing and Operations Teams to strengthen the Sun Pharma Brand in Canada
Qualifications
- Minimum of a University degree or diploma preferably in Marketing, Science, or Business
- Minimum of 2-5 years of marketing experience (preferably in the pharmaceutical or generic industry)
- Bilingual is a strong asset (English and French)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and a willingness to embrace technology
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team navigating multiple priorities
- Some understanding of the Canadian pharmaceutical market would be an asset
- Good multi-tasking and time management skills
- Good communication skills

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $76,500 to $96,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; RRSP savings plan; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
