List of Responsibilities

• To maintained STP, ETP & ZLD treated effluent parameters as per norms of State Pollution Control Board.
• Monitoring effluent data generation.
• Support Engineering team for Preparation of water balance in the Campus
• Monitoring waste treatment system
• Monthly Data preparation for effluent generation, solid waste disposal, used oil disposal and Hazardous waste.
• Coordination with all departments for safe handling of Hazardous substances.
• Monitoring and audit of Permit to work system to abate the accidents.
• Imparting EHS training to Technician, lab attendants & Security on life saving equipment’s, Fire extinguishers and Hydrant system.
• Preparation of accident static’s
• To guide in selection of appropriate personal protective equipment’s for employees and contractors.
• Legal requirements concerned to Safety and Environment on sites.
• Scheduling emergencies through On Site Emergency Plan & executing Mock Drills to ensure emergency preparedness.
• Preparation and modification of Site Safety SOPs.
• Incident investigation

Qualification and Technical Competency

Degree or Diploma in engineering or Science Graduate and sound knowledge to handle Fire alarm, Hydrant, ETP , STP & ZLD system with 2 – 4 year experience

Post Diploma in Industrial safety will be preferred.
