Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for Microbial analysis of Raw Material, Hold time samples and Finished Products & Stability products as per the current specification and current General procedures and pharmacopeia
• Responsible for Receiving, sampling ,planning and distributing the samples of finished goods ,raw materials, stability products and water samples as per the specifications and schedule and assuring that the samples which are tested in micro lab, are releasing by current specifications or current GPs etc.
• Responsible for checking the releasing reports of finished goods, raw materials and water.
• Responsible for Preparation and Implementation of Annual Planner for Environmental monitoring in Production Area, Dispensing Area, Sampling Area and in Microbiology laboratory.
• Responsible for handling, calibration and Qualification and validation of Instruments used in Microbiology Laboratory and review of relevant calibration and validation data.
• Responsible to review preparation and Sterilization of Media and Sterilization of Glassware, Garments etc. and maintenance of relevant data.
• Responsible for checking and Maintenance of daily usage log books in Microbiology Laboratory.
• Responsible for Handling, Identification, Preservation of Microbial cultures and its related records.
• Responsible for preparation and review the SOPs used in microbiology department in EDMS.
• Responsible for revision of specifications for reduced testing implementation
• Responsible for maintenance of all documents and records used in Microbiology Section.
• Responsible to provide internal training program to the microbiologist as per the requirement in LMS.
• Responsible for review of Trend chart for Purified water, Potable Water and Environment Monitoring.
• Monitoring and checking the media consumption records and its GPT and receiving of media.
• Responsible for preparation of Weekly report of sample management.
• Responsible for daily online monitoring of all pending samples in LIMS 
• Responsible for routine analysis online reporting and compilation in LIMS
• Responsible for Change control/deviations/OOS/CAPA for microbiology department if required.
• Responsible for preparation of monthly quality matrices.
