Ensure alignment with organizational goals, requirements, and government norms. • Technical Design & DPR Preparation: Lead DPR development including surveys, hydrological assessments, engineering designs, BOQs, and cost estimates. Validate technical feasibility and geo-spatial accuracy. • Execution & Quality Oversight: Supervise implementation of watershed interventions (check dams, farm ponds, contour trenches, recharge pits). Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Agriculture Development & Productivity: Oversee agricultural productivity improvement through crop diversification, sustainable farming practices, horticulture, and vegetable cultivation. Promote climate-resilient agriculture and soil health management. • Livelihoods & Enterprise Development: Facilitate livelihood initiatives including animal husbandry, goat rearing, poultry, and women-led microenterprises. Support capacity building for income-generating activities and market linkages. • Community Mobilisation & Institution Building: Strengthen Pani Samitis, Village Development Committees, and SHGs. Facilitate participatory planning and capacity building for governance and O&M. • Government & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with Panchayats and relevant departments for convergence with schemes. Represent project progress in review meetings. • Monitoring & Documentation: Maintain MIS, GPS mapping, and geo-tagged documentation. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; develop case studies and best practices. • Financial Oversight & Compliance: Monitor budgets, contractor payments, and procurement processes. Ensure transparency and adherence to audit norms. • Risk Management & Safeguards: Identify technical/social risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with environmental and social safeguards. Key Deliverables • Approved DPRs and Annual Implementation Plan for watershed, agriculture, and livelihoods. • Timely and quality execution of watershed structures as per standards. • Documented agriculture and livelihood outcomes (crop diversification, soil health, livestock, women-led enterprises). • Operational MIS with geo-tagged data and periodic progress reports. • Strengthened community institutions with capacity-building records. • Documented convergence with government schemes and resource mobilization. • Annual outcome metrics reported (water storage, area treated, productivity improvements, livelihood gains). 6. |
