Job purpose

The Field Sales Rotational Territory Manager is responsible for promoting Sun’s products, optimizing the business opportunities in targeted physicians’ offices, key clinics and hospitals that specialize in Biologics. This role will be assigned to different key regions, based on need and availability and placed on a 15-month rotational program to allow Field Sales experience and development. Coordination with the Program Manager and all field-based employees will effectively drive the sales of promoted products within a designated business area and geography.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for full achievement of assigned business objectives
  • Liaise closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, Field Reimbursement, Managed Markets and leadership to drive business objectives
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by continuously improving sales plans
  • Evaluate customer needs and build long-lasting relationships
  • Forecast sales and develop “out of the box” sales strategies
  • Maintain and expand client database within assigned territory
  • Responsible for the understanding and utilization of sales reports, CRM, and forecasts
  • Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals
  • Participates actively at national, regional and local meetings
  • Responsible for timely call reporting and expense reporting
  • Responsible for managing promotional budgets within their territory

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management or related field required
  • 0-2 years selling in pharmaceutical or biotech industry desire, but not required
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate, innovate and deliver results
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to live away from home and travel during 12-18 month assignment
  • Must be willing to relocate after program completion

 

Working conditions

This role requires frequent travel and relocation every 1-3 months, based on assignment and need. Assignment length may vary within Dermatology sales business unit and may be extended depending on availability. After 15-month rotational program, candidates are eligible for permanent internal opportunities. Travel expenses, vehicle and training will be provided by company. Candidate must be willing to relocate.
