Job purpose
This role will be responsible for all Supply Chain activities for Brand division.
- To review forecast, place orders, logistics, Customs clearance, Distributors, inventory reconciliation and vendor development.
- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another.
- Arrange transportation, and orchestrate deliveries to meet demand.
- Receives materials and coordinates delivery.
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle.
Duties and responsibilities
- Enter new items in SAP and advise distributors with details.
- Review forecast for all SKU's and enter in APO.
- Create RFC based on forecast.
- Create purchase orders with CMO's in SAP.
- Follow up with the CMO's for open orders and availability of product.
- Enter customer orders and follow up on the status.
- Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
- Provide documentation to custom brokers in advance for custom clearance.
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the proper channels.
- Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy & custom clearance.
- Make special shipping arrangements as necessary.
- Prepare logistics documents for shipping e.g. BOL, invoice etc.
- Track and fix shipping errors.
- Collaborate with quality team to release Finished Goods on time on both SAP and with distributors.
- Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
- Reconcile inventory data from all distributors in SAP.
- Work with finance team to ensure billing of products is accurate.
- Develop and execute tools and methodologies to enable effective implementation of logistic plans.
- Create shipping/delivery routes and schedules.
- Responsible to generate cycle count sheets for daily, weekly and annual cycle count checks for the warehouse, report findings, evaluating variances and ensuring variances are corrected in SAP.
- Responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels for lab consumables/production consumables and pro-actively flag to the procurement team when re-supply is needed.
- Assist with Internal and External Audits.
- Support the creation and amendment of SOP's as they relate to inventory processes and procedures.
- Provision /SLOB Files updates to business.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Additional responsibility (Only applicable to customer facing roles)
Report any adverse event received from customers for company products to the pharmacovigilance department / Drug Safety on the same day or within 1 business day.
Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years' of relevant experience within the supply chain, logistics, and/or purchasing fields.
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Supply Chain Management, or in a related field.
APICS certification preferred (CSCP, CPIM, CLTD).
- Proven experience as in Supply Chain including understanding of applicable warehouse and inventory computer systems.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, customs and ISO requirements.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision and track multiple processes.
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge & applications of SAP & MS office tools.
- Knowledge of APO is considered an asset.
