Our Brampton location is presently looking for Senior Manager Corporate Accounts. 

 

 

Job purpose

 

Reporting to the Director National Key Accounts, this position represents a key strategic and functional role to manage corporate sales, account profitability, customer compliance and to improve salesforce effectiveness for the commercial sales team. This role will be responsible for managing day to day activities for specified accounts, including presentation of new products, quarterly business reviews and annual reconciliations. In addition, this role will develop and manage key Customer Effectiveness tools aimed at monitoring key account information, sales program and promotional effectiveness and overall profitability performance by customer.

 

This role will work directly with Director of National Key Accounts and Vice President of Commercial Canada to ensure our sales programs are both effective and profitable and to provide strategic direction on corrective actions or activities required to improve customer performance. This individual will have a strong sales and business acumen in Generic Sales, outstanding analytical skills and is results-oriented.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Direct sales management responsibilities over key corporate accounts, managing $10M in annual sales and annual growth targets
  • In collaboration with Wholesaler Trade Manager, support the commercial relationship with some key wholesalers in Ontario
  • Manage quarterly reviews with key customers to ensure sales program effectiveness, sales compliance and profitability targets are realized.
  • Directly responsible for coordination and production of all key account RFP’s; including new business opportunities and risks to current business.
  • Responsible for leading and implementing Taro’s vision (mandated by marketing) for customer events, conferences and buying shows in coordination with commercial needs.
  • Manage customer listing grids to ensure Commercial Operations has visibility and knowledge of appropriate inventory and allocation of products, ensuring superior customer fulfillment.
  • Manage all aspects of CRM program for corporate sales team
  • Manage innovative dashboard and sales reporting tools 
  • Manage and provide quarterly sales performance reports
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to define and design metrics, reports, scorecards, and dashboards to drive commercial sales performance. This included market segmentation, needs analysis, report design, data distribution and ad-hoc reports as required.

 

Qualifications

 

  • College or University Degree or equivalent work experience in the Generic Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of sales and business analysis experience within the pharmaceutical industry (preferably generics).
  • Experience and expertise across multiple business areas and multiple systems / departments (i.e. Sales, Commercial Finance, Marketing, Business Development and Inventory Management).
  • Fluent in English. Bilingual an asset.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Able to work in a Team environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-directed and proactive.
  • Excellent business acumen skills combined with strong interpersonal skills to effectively work and influence select customers to achieve the necessary sales and profitability objectives for the Corporate Sales Team.
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to translate strategy into practical, competitive and executable business plans
  • Proven experience working with commercial partners and customers in Canada, such as major wholesalers and corporate accounts
  • Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines as needed for our customers.
  • Proven ability to synthesize information into succinct, concise and logical summaries and reports.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, experience with CRM (Veeva or other) and sales reporting tools or analytic applications.

  • Home based position with ability to travel to Head Office when needed.
